Bisecting Pathways | Pittsford, NY

Upon entering this home your immediately get drawn to the outside with the large light filled stair tower.

Project Details

This Mediterranean style home was developed along two bisecting circulation pathways.  The main pathway extends from the front door to a curved stair tower that overlooks the lower level and exterior patios.  The secondary pathway connects the public sections of the house to the private sections.  The bisecting pattern created four quadrants that further organized the public and private spaces within.  Using arched openings, decorative columns and various ceiling details we created distinctive spaces within a large open floor plan that accesses the exterior areas on the back of the home.
