Homes that peaceably coexist with the natural surrounding and man-made qualities of the place are usually friendlier to the environment. Siting the structure to the sun, good views, breezes, etc. will help with this design approach. What are your feelings and thoughts towards this type of design approach and how it would relate to your specific houses site?
At Method Architecture Studio we already have a baseline building level that is much higher than minimum code requires, producing a more energy efficient, durable and healthy home. We further encourage our clients to use additional sustainable systems as much as possible. Our goal is to help educate you in a responsible way to make wise decisions that will get good results and be a sound investment. Please indicate which of the following systems are of interest to you, and we will further explore them in greater detail along with the design.
Passive Solar Heat
Passive Solar Hot Water
Active Solar Heat
Active Solar Electricity
Roof Water Collection and Reuse
Grey Water Recycling
