The site is located at the top of the hillside overlooking Canandaigua Lake below.  It is a twist on the modern farmhouse aesthetic that responds to and connects with its site and environment. 

We nestled this lodge style home into a knoll on the expansive site in order to take advantage of the long valley views with out having to build high above the natural grade.  The interior spaces open up to the surrounding landscape while a complementing exterior and interior material palette helps blur the line.
