A lodge style family house inspired by the large open agriculture like site that embraces the natural aesthetics of daylighting, douglas fir wood and stone.

We nestled this lodge style home into a knoll on the expansive site in order to take advantage of the long valley views with out having to build high above the natural grade. The interior spaces open up to the surrounding landscape while a complementing exterior and interior material palette helps blur the line.
