Responding to this properties characteristics this house provides several unique ways to move between the North swim beach and the South boat launch.
Project Details
The house is conceived as a long linear ’T’ shaped design. Each distinct area of the house provides a different type of transition from the north to the south across the property. The main form of the house is timber framed and seamlessly transitions from the inside to outside with a large wrap around covered porch. This connection was heightened by bringing a number of the exterior materials into the interior detailing. As you enter the home you are graced by a large light filled stair well, and upon further exploration you continually reveal the view to the lake and hills beyond.
