Ski Back Cabin | Mammoth Lakes, CA

A transformed 1970’s ski cabin becomes a modern mountain jewel in the Eastern Sierras.

Project Details

Large scale additions and renovations can provide some of the best solutions to design problems.  We transformed this 1970’s home into a mountain modern ski chalet.  The raw material palette of stone, wood and steel and the simple form with low slung gable roof lines compliment the natural high desert environment of Mammoth Lakes.  On the inside a modern clean lined approach was taken with dark stained wood accents and cabinetry standing out against white painted walls.  This is a great home to enjoy at any season in a highly active recreation area.
