A clean coastal design inspired by generations of love for the lake life. These owners grew up on Canandaigua lake and it was essential that the house be closely integrated with a waterfront experience. From the wooden boat incorporated into the screen porch to the quiet master suite’s sitting area, it’s all about relaxing and space for their ever-expanding family and friends network.

We nestled this lodge style home into a knoll on the expansive site in order to take advantage of the long valley views with out having to build high above the natural grade. The interior spaces open up to the surrounding landscape while a complementing exterior and interior material palette helps blur the line.
